Day 2 (36): Leonardtown, MD

We finally got to our friends’ house around 11am. We hit some pretty good rain last night but had pretty good weather the rest of the way in. It was really great to see our friends, which we hadn’t seen in two years. True friends really know no distance. Tony, the groom, was in the Marine Corps with Devin and his twin Dustin. Here’s Devin & Dustin…guess who is who!

The bride, Anna, was gone when we arrived, but when she came back I made her and Tony immediately open their gift (the quilt). I just couldn’t wait.

It was after this that I found out that Anna just absolutely LOVES quilts which makes it all the more worth it.

Well there isn’t much else to tell other than we got ready for the rehearsal, helped decorate the reception hall, and enjoyed a wonderful rehearsal dinner of BBQ.
Here is uncle Dustin and Mini-B at the rehearsal dinner:

We still didn’t keep track of the miles…so I guess we traveled some more miles across America for a total of more miles across America than yesterday :-)
